The USA Pavilion invites visitors to “Imagine what we can create together” while taking them through an exciting showcase of American technology, innovation, and collaboration. In contrast to the breathtaking views of mountains and forests on two enormous screens outside, the futuristic design of the entrance hallway makes it feel like you have stepped onto a spaceship.
The pavilion’s mascot “Spark” and pavilion staff present some exciting new technologies in development such as AI assisted crop production using drones and tiny robots for alleviating nerve pain. The combination of the live presenter, adorable animations of Spark singing, and videos about the technology makes for an engaging experience for all ages!
The next room focuses on travel. As Spark sings, footage of all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. territories appears in alternating patchwork across five screens. From bustling cities to bucolic countryside, burgers and baseball games to brass bands, there is something for everyone!
But the United States isn’t the only place you are invited to visit! Visitors blast off into space, both touring the present and imagining the future such as a permanent lunar base. Exiting the rocket ship, you can even see a real moon rock!
“Back on earth” visitors can also enjoy live performances at the pavilion’s outdoor stage or dine on authentic American cuisine. So whether you’re inspired by cutting-edge innovation, dreaming of space exploration, or simply craving a taste of America at the restaurant, come to the USA Pavilion for an exciting experience that is out of this world!
