2024.11.18 “Best Practices” at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan Selected

The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”) is pleased to announce that it has selected the following projects for Best Practices at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter referred to as “the Expo”).
Best Practices is a programme that disseminates high-quality projects that solve important global issues. The project was first introduced at Expo 2010 in Shanghai and has been running since. For Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, applications were accepted from projects that embody the theme “Designing Future Society for Our Lives” between Tuesday, 19 September 2023 and Wednesday, 19 June 2024.
The Best Practices were selected from projects submitted from all over the world, following a review by the selection committee members. In addition to their affinity with the Expo’s theme of “Designing Future Society for Our Lives”, the projects were selected with consideration for their certainty of impact, potential for regional development, and contribution to a better future.
The selected Best Practices will be introduced on the Expo’s official website, displayed in the best practice area at the venue during the Expo and shared through the virtual Expo. In addition, we are considering setting up opportunities for the award winners to present their initiatives and a space for exchange.
