At Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter referred to as “the Expo”), there are on-site (same-day) registration terminals for visitors who are unable to make reservations for pavilions and events using their smartphones or other devices. Please note the following important points when using the on-site (same-day) registration terminals.
In addition, please note that in order to ensure adequate resting space for visitors as part of heatstroke prevention measures, the service of the on-site (same-day) registration terminal previously located at Service Facilities SE has ended as of Friday, 18 July.
Important Points to Note When Using the On-site (Same-day) Registration Terminals
The pavilion and event on-site (same-day) registration terminals allow those who are not used to using smartphones or who entered with ticket types* that do not allow online same-day registration (reservations) to make reservations at the Expo site.
* Easy Entry Tickets sold on EXPO Quick, printed tickets/vouchers sold at convenience stores, same-day tickets sold at the Ticket Exchange Office in front of the Expo site gates, etc
Therefore, we recommend that those who can make reservations via their smartphone or other device do so online (see Section 1 below).
In addition, when using the on-site registration terminals at the Expo site, please be aware that you cannot reserve more than one same-day registration slot at a time (see Section 2 below) and that there is a time limit for using the on-site (same-day) registration terminals (see Section 3 below).
1. We recommend making reservations online using a smartphone or other device.
If you register (make a reservation) online from your smartphone or other device on the day of your visit, you can make a reservation from anywhere without having to wait in line for the on-site (same-day) registration terminals. You can also make efficient use of your time by making a reservation online while waiting to enter a pavilion or event.
We especially recommend making a reservation from the comfort of an indoor rest area on hot or rainy days.
Those who enter with a ticket linked to their Expo ID will be able to make online reservations via their smartphones or other devices approximately 10 minutes after entry, so please take advantage of this service.

2. You cannot reserve more than one same-day registration slot at a time.
Only one on-site (same-day) registration (reservation) can be made at a time.
Please note that you cannot make two or more same-day registrations (reservations) at the same time, regardless of whether made online or at an on-site (same-day) registration terminal. You can make your next on-site (same-day) registration (reservation) after you have finished visiting the previous pavilion or event you made a same-day reservation for.
3. There is a time limit for using the on-site (same-day) registration terminals.
Each group may use the same-day (on-site) registration terminals for up to 3 minutes at a time.
We appreciate your understanding regarding this time limit in order to allow as many visitors as possible to use the terminals.
(Reference) Latest Information on On-Site (Same-Day) Registration
Recently, on-site (same-day) registration (reservation) slots tend to be filled within approximately two hours of the Expo site opening. However, some pavilions make additional reservation slots available gradually, so there is still a chance to register on the day of your visit even if you arrive in the afternoon.
If you make an online reservation from a smartphone or other device, you can apply for on-site (same-day) registration (reservation) at the time when your desired pavilion opens its reservation slots, without having to wait in line for an on-site (same-day) registration terminal. Please take advantage of the online reservation system.
In addition, there are many pavilions and events that do not require reservations (mainly official participants’ pavilions and events hosted by the Expo Association) so you can still enjoy plenty of pavilions and events without making a reservation.

End of the Service of One On-Site (Same-Day) Registration Terminal
Previously, there was one on-site (same-day) registration terminal in Service Facilities SE. However, due to the facility being very crowded, the service of this terminal ended on Friday, 18 July in order to ensure sufficient space for resting as a heatstroke prevention measure.
