The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”) is pleased to announce that bidding for reuse of Building Materials/Equipment will open on 18 July 2025. The items available this time have been posted on the website ahead of when bidding opens, so please check them and participate in bidding.
“EXPO CIRCULAR MARKET MYAKU-ICHI!” is a service that matches the supply and demand for the relocation and reuse of facilities, building materials, equipment, supplies, etc. from the Expo site. Through this service, the Association is working to promote the reuse of facilities and equipment throughout the country in the future, as well as to reduce industrial waste, and realise a circular economy.
Bidding Period
Friday 18 July, 2025 to Friday 15 August, 2025
Details
The items available in the current round of bidding are items that are left over from the four previous rounds of bidding (10 March, 25 March, 10 April and 25 April) (Benches/Lampposts/Western-style toilets and urinals/ Lighting fittings /Air conditioner and other air-conditioning equipment/Sinks/Electric water heaters/Kitchenettes/Fire extinguishers, etc.), and the minimum bid prices have been reevaluated. The minimum bid price excludes the cost of removal/demolition, which was required in previous biddings. The minimum price of each item has been significantly reduced.
