The “EXPO 2025 Virtual Expo – Yumeshima Islands in the Sky” app, which has been enjoyed by many people since its launch, will end service on Monday, 13 October 2025, the day that Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan closes.
On the final day, 13 October the closing ceremony at the Expo site on Yumeshima island will be live-streamed on the Virtual Expo app.

Closing Ceremony Live Stream
The Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan Closing Ceremony, which will be held at the EXPO Hall “Shining Hat” at the Expo site on Yumeshima Isaland, will be livestreamed on the Virtual Expo app starting at 14:00 on Monday, 13 October 2025. Anyone who has the Virtual Expo app installed can watch for free, from anywhere, with no reservations required. The livestream of the Closing Ceremony will be the final event held on the Virtual Expo app. Enjoy the interactive experience unique to the Virtual Expo, such as communicating with other participants through chat and expressing your feelings through emotes (gestures).
・How to access the Closing Ceremony live stream
Launch the Virtual Expo app at around 13:45 on 13 October and select “Closing Ceremony” on the home screen or enter “E11_EXPO Hall” in the virtual venue.

“EXPO 2025 Virtual Expo ~Yumeshima Islands in The Sky~” is a virtual version of the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan site. Visitors can enter the world of the Expo as avatars, tour virtual reproductions of the pavilions and event facilities, and enjoy virtual exhibits and events from anywhere in the world 24 hours a day. In addition, at the real Expo site on Yumeshima Island, they can enjoy content that utilises AR. Visitors can prepare for their visit to the real Expo site, visit pavilions they missed out on when they visited, and relive their favourite pavilions through 2D content and mini-games.
