2025.09.12 Reuse Matching Site “EXPO CIRCULAR MARKET MYAKU-ICHI!” Fixtures and Equipment Reuse Website Launched Bidding Opens from October 2025

The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”) has launched an “EXPO CIRCULAR MARKET MYAKU-ICHI!” (hereinafter “MYAKU-ICHI!”) website for the reuse of fixtures and equipment as part of the Future Society Showcase Project “GREEN EXPO” Reuse Matching Project. Bidding will open from early October.
Ahead of the auction, the listings of the available items will be posted on the new website, so please check them and participate in bidding.
“EXPO CIRCULAR MARKET MYAKU-ICHI!” is a service that matches the supply and demand for the relocation and reuse of facilities, building materials, equipment, supplies, etc. from the Expo site. Through this service, the Association is working to promote the reuse of facilities and equipment throughout the country in the future, as well as to reduce industrial waste, and realise a circular economy.

Auction Period

MYAKU-ICHI! Reuse of fixtures and equipment first auction schedule (TBC)
The auction will be divided into two categories; for “national and local governments and for “private sector companies and individuals.” The auction for national and local governments will be conducted on the MYAKU-ICHI! website and the Association’s official website. The auction for private sector companies and individuals will be conducted on MYAKU-ICHI! and Yahoo! Auctions.

・First bidding round for national and local governments: Wednesday 1 October – Tuesday 14 October 2025
・First bidding round for private sector companies and individuals: Tuesday 11 November – Monday 17 November 2025
・Second bidding round for national and local governments: Thursday 27 November – Wednesday 10 December 2025
・Second bidding round for private sector companies and individuals: Monday 15 December – Sunday 21 December 2025
Note: This schedule is currently tentative and may be subject to change. In addition, for items that were not sold in the first round of bidding, the minimum bid price will be revised, and a second round of bidding will be held using the same procedures.

MYAKU-ICHI! Reuse of fixtures and equipment first auction items for sale

Items available include fixtures, equipment and small structures used in pavilions, facilities, and offices at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan.

・MYAKU-MYAKU Statues (made of FRP)
・PCs, smartphones, displays, office desks
・Gate equipment (QR code readers, facial recognition cameras etc)
・Sofas, placards, etc.
