An ExpoID is a common ID that can be used to log in to the various services provided at the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan. By registering for an ExpoID, you can enjoy the Expo more conveniently.

Purchase admission tickets on the official sales website
You can purchase admission tickets on the official sales website. You don’t have to worry about losing it because it’s electronic tickets and it’s easy to enter! If you have an ExpoID, you can also hand it over to each other.

We deliver various latest information about the Expo 2025 Osaka ,Kansai and information on the appearance of MYAKU-MYAKU in our email newsletter.
In addition, various services that can be used for ExpoID will be developed. Details of each service will be provided as soon as they are ready.
Convenient and Secure Authentication for Logging in
In addition to your ExpoID and password, you will need to verify your identity when logging in. It has a secure login function using screen unlock function such as biometric authentication and a one-time password.
What you need to register for an “ExpoID”
An email address
A device with screen unlock functions such as biometrics, passcode, pattern, PIN, etc. already been set up(Recommend)

Even if you purchase admission tickets for all of your family, an ExpoID still needs to be registered for every family member who will visit.
If you are under the age of 16 or do not have a device that can perform screen lock authentication, such as biometric authentication, you can have a family member or proxy accompanying you to set it up on your behalf.

This is an official website where you can purchase admission tickets for the Expo.
You need to register for an "ExpoID" to purchase tickets on this website.
Please be sure to book a date and time for your visit before coming to the Expo.
To ensure the safe and smooth flow of visitors at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, it is necessary to schedule the admission date of your visit in advance.
Reservations for visit dates and times will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis starting 6 months prior to the desired visit date and time.
From 13 October, 2024, you can select the admission date and time of your visit when purchasing a ticket.
Reservations can be made from 6 months in advance!
Visit Date
Select an entrance gate when making a reservation.
The entrance gate is divided into “East Gate” and “West Gate” depending on your method of arrival.
Please select the gate you will use on the day of your visit when making a reservation.
If you are coming to the Expo site via the Osaka Metro Chuo Line, etc., please select “East Gate”. If you are coming to the Expo site by shuttle bus, etc., please select “West Gate”.
*If you win the Super Early Bird Special Lottery, your reservation will be set as “Admission from 09:00 at the East Gate”. If you are coming by means other than Osaka Metro, such as by shuttle bus, please change the entrance gate. You can change the entrance gate starting from 6 months before the date of your visit.
If you want to change your schedule after reserving a date and time, you can change it up to three times.
However, please note that if you change the date of your visit to another day after winning a lottery for a pavilion or event as explained in STEP 4, your reservation for that pavilion or event that you were selected for will be invalidated.
If you only change the time of your visit or the entrance gate on the same day without changing the date, it will not count towards the three allowed changes.

Summer Pass holders can reserve up to two visit dates, and Season Pass holders can reserve up to three.
You can make additional reservations after your visit or by cancelling your previous reservation.
Please note that Summer Pass and Season Pass holders are required to register for facial recognition* in advance.

After booking a visit date & time, apply for event & pavilion lotteries.
Reservations for Pavilions, Events, and Exhibition Viewing
You can make reservations to visit pavilions, events, and view exhibitions at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan according to the date and time of your reservation made in STEP 3.
Groups such as families and friends can also participate in the lottery, make reservations in advance, and do same-day registrations together.
*Some pavilions do not require advance pavilion reservations or same-day registration, and allow entry by queuing.
Viewing Reservation Period
You will have a total of three opportunities to make a reservation starting three months before your visit date: two lottery draws (held 2 months and 7 days before to the lottery date) and a first-come, first-served application for remaining available slots (available from 3 days to 1 day before the lottery date).
The Super Early Bird One-Day Tickets include an additional reservation opportunity as a bonus.
(Lottery applications are scheduled from 25 September to 6 October, 2024, and the lottery winners will be notified on 12 October)
Lottery Application Schedule for Pavilions and Events
There are two lottery opportunities for pavilions and events: the “2-Month Advance Lottery” and the “7-Day Advance Lottery.“
You can apply for the 2-Month Advance Lottery from 3 months to the day before 2 months prior to your reserved visit date. The 7-Day Advance Lottery can be applied for from 1 month to 8 days prior to your reserved visit date.
For each application, you can apply for up to five choices.
You cannot apply for a time slot that overlaps with one that you have already won.
Pavilion & event bookings have 2 lotteries (2 mo. & 7 days prior) + 1st-come, 1st-served from 3 days prior.

You can apply for two lottery drawings of pavilions and events: “2 months in advance” and “7 days in advance.“
You can apply for the “2-month advance lottery” from 3 months to 2 months before your visit date up to the day before the 2-month period. Applications for the “7-day advance lottery” are accepted from 1 month before your visit date to 8 days before.

Available Slot Reservations and Same-Day Registration for Pavilions and Events
If there are available slots for pavilion or event reservations, you can apply for these first-come, first-served reservations from 3 days before your visit date until 09:00 the day before.
If there are any available slots for pavilion or event reservations on the day of your visit, you can register for them on the same day on a first-come, first-served basis* after entering the venue.
You can register on the same day using your smartphone or the registration terminals that will be installed in the venue.
You can only register for one slot on the same day.
After viewing the pavilion or event you registered for, you can register for the next available slot.
*When registering on the same day using your smartphone, you can register 10 minutes after holding up and scanning the QR code at each gate.

Complete Your Visit Date and Time Reservation and Prepare Your QR Code.
On the admission day of your visit, use the QR code at the entrance gate and for pavilions and events.
Confirm the QR code that you will use before coming to the Expo site.
In addition to showing the QR code on your smartphone, it is recommended to also print it out or save a screenshot and bring it with you in case of problems such as battery or connectivity issues.
If you order a memorial ticket that you can keep as a momento of your visit, the ticket will be delivered to you with a QR code printed on it.
Check Your “Entrance Gate”
When reserving an admission date and time for your visit, you also select your entrance gate according to your method of arrival.
Check “My Ticket” on the official ticket sales website to see whether your entrance gate is set to “East Gate (arrival by Osaka Metro Chuo Line)” or “West Gate (arrival by shuttle bus, etc.)”.
If the entrance gate does not match your method of arrival, you can change the entrance gate. However, please note that the admission slots for your desired time slot may already be full depending on reservation availability, so it’s recommended to check early.

For those under 16 years of age
Why can’t people under 16 register themselves?
This is because the European data protection policy GDPR (EU General Data Protection Regulation) requires that parents have control over the personal data of children under the age of 16. Global events such as the Expo are required to comply with this GDPR legislation.
Proxy Registration for ExpoIDs
It is a function that allows you to register for an ExpoID on behalf of persons who cannot register by themselves for various reasons.
(For those who have an ExpoID, you can do the registration via the "Proxy Registration" option in the ExpoID menu.)

* The person who has registered as a proxy (proxy registrant) manages the ExpoID registration information of the person for whom the proxy registration was completed (proxy-registered user).
*The person for whom the proxy registration was completed (proxy-registered user) does not need to set up identity verification. They can log in with only the ExpoID and password. However, some functions, such as digital ticket purchases, are not available.
