The Osaka Smart Health Project "Health-O" is a
project that supports startups in the next-generation smart
health field, developing apps and services that promote the
health, prevent and treat diseases, and assist with
rehabilitation and nursing care giving prevention for
individuals and employees.
Carefully selected apps for preventing lifestyle-related
diseases and dementia and improving mental health through
better exercise, nutrition, and sleep quality, will be on
display for a limited time. Come experience a new form of
health promotion!

Programme details
The theme of EXPO 2025 is “Designing Future Society for Our Lives.” We offer an opportunity to reflect on life, specifically the most familiar aspect, “your own health,” through the “Health-O Experience in Wasse.” More than 20 startup companies developing and offering services that leverage cutting-edge technology to enable easy and convenient health monitoring and effortless health improvement in a short time will be exhibiting. Visitors can explore and experience a wide variety of current "smart health" services through easy-to-understand and fun exhibits, all free of charge. We also plan to hold interactive events at each booth to help enhance your health awareness as you explore the exhibits. We look forward to welcoming you.

【Reflection】
As part of the Osaka Smart Health Project “Health-O,” we held
an exhibition showcasing the initiatives of 23 next-generation
smart health startups we support. To encourage visitors to
explore the booths, we organized a digital stamp rally, which
attracted 9,102 participants over the three-day period.
We also set up a booth introducing the “Zero-th Business
Card,” an idea proposed by Dr. Yoshiki Ishikawa. For those
interested, we offered an on-the-spot service to create a
personalized business card with their photo, resulting in
1,945 cards being made.
Participating startups also collaborated in this initiative by
displaying the “Zero-th Business Card” of their
representatives at each booth, successfully drawing visitors’
interest to the individual startup exhibits.
Through these activities, we were able to engage a large
number of visitors over the three days, allowing them to learn
about the startups’ initiatives through hands-on experiences,
and contributing to greater awareness of next-generation smart
health.
【Post EXPO Initiatives】
In addition to increasing awareness through this exhibition,
we were also able to achieve valuable outcomes such as
gathering direct feedback from visitors—including
dissatisfaction with other products—that can lead to product
improvements.
Building on these results, the Osaka Smart Health Project
“Health-O” will continue to provide close, hands-on support to
startups in the smart health sector, with the aim of
accelerating the social implementation of smart health. We
will also seize various opportunities to assist in
disseminating information about these startups, further
enhancing public awareness of smart health.
Through these initiatives, we aim to contribute to the
establishment of a next-generation smart health startup
ecosystem.
