“KENKO Investment for Health (KIH)” is the strategic
implementation of employee health management from a management
point of view. Supporters of “KIH” include financial
institutions, service providers, economic organizations, and
local governments, and many partnerships and supporting
measures that utilize the functions and roles of each of them
are sprouting. What is expected from this major movement is
that companies and society will change, and that number of
social issues will be resolved in a chain reaction. Investing
in the well-being and health of employees from a strategic
point of view and implementing the PDCA cycle will improve
individual performance, change work styles and corporate
culture, and eventually have a positive impact on society.
Supporters of “KIH” are the ones who push the switch for such
change. How do supporters, such as financial institutions,
view the current situation and what visions do they have
for“KIH", which aims to realize “physical, mental, and
social well-being,” as stated by the World Health Organization
(WHO), in the workplace? We will explore the future of “KIH”
as they see it.
