The government has reached a 10-year milestone in its efforts
to promote regional revitalization and has launched a new
initiative, “Regional Revitalization 2.0.” This initiative
aims to realize a sustainable society where people can live
comfortably, safely, and securely in both urban and rural
areas, as well as “enjoyable local communities” that are
chosen by young people and women alike. We will introduce
activating the “Regional Revitalization 2.0” initiative as a
keynote speech.

"Regional Revitalization 2.0."
As a result of this program, we believe we were able to convey
the content of Regional Revitalization 2.0 to many people and
deepen their understanding.
Even after this program, the government will continue to
support local governments and promote awareness through
lectures at various events, etc., in accordance with the
"Regional Revitalization 2.0 Basic Plan" approved by
the Cabinet on June 13, 2025, with the aim of realizing a
sustainable society where everyone can live happily, safely
and securely, whether in urban or rural areas, and "fun
rural areas" that are chosen by young people and women.
