【Reflection】
The event was a dynamic and engaging experience that offered
visitors a vivid glimpse into Qatar’s vision for the
future.
It began with the Food Security and Sustainable Agritech
session, where participants explored Qatar’s innovative
approaches to achieving a sustainable future – from smart
farming to zero-waste technologies. Guests were fascinated by
how these advancements are shaping Qatar’s long-term national
development plans.
The following STEM and TVET presentation showcased Qatar’s
efforts to equip future leaders with practical, hands-on
skills. Attendees responded enthusiastically to the importance
of applied STEM education, as the session demonstrated how
innovation and education come together to build future-ready
societies. Through audience questions, interactive quizzes,
and small prizes, the presentations turned serious topics into
an enjoyable and inspiring learning experience.
A highlight of the day was The Dhow’s Journey interactive
exhibit, which allowed visitors to discover Qatar’s maritime
heritage through five immersive phases. Participants learned
about the craftsmanship, history, and sustainability of
traditional dhow building. The hands-on nature of the
experience deepened understanding of Qatari traditions and
made the exhibition both educational and memorable.
The event concluded with the distribution of beautifully
designed keychains depicting traditional Qatari men and women,
creatively combined with Japanese design elements. These
thoughtful gifts delighted attendees and served as a perfect
keepsake of the day.
Overall, the event successfully blended learning, interaction,
and cultural heritage, leaving participants inspired,
informed, and connected to Qatar’s story of innovation and
tradition.
【Post EXPO Initiatives】
Building on the positive feedback and outcomes of this event,
Qatar continues to advance its efforts in education,
sustainable agriculture, and cultural exchange. The approaches
showcased during the Expo – particularly in STEM education and
sustainable agritech – will serve as key pillars in future
collaborations and knowledge-sharing with international
partners.
Furthermore, the event has strengthened the foundation for
deeper engagement with Japan. Inspired by the success of this
interactive and cross-cultural programme, Qatar looks forward
to exploring new opportunities for cooperation that highlight
both nations’ shared commitment to innovation, sustainability,
and cultural understanding.
