Programme details
Communities of local companies present their own ”social impacts”. This is an experimental event in which large companies that sympathize with these presentations give awards and promise future communication.
Reports
【Reflection】
Nine communities of local companies presented their
"social impacts" in front of fourteen large
companies. Large companies gave thirty"corporate
awards" to communities that matched their growth and
direction, and a new connection between local communities and
large companies was born with "solving social and
regional issues" as a contact point.
The "Company Award" in this event does not entail
the provision of prize money, but rather a "commitment to
future communication." However, it is
"acceptable" to provide secondary awards in the form
of the provision of resources that large companies already
have.
The community has eight minutes to speak. It takes 15 minutes
for each company, with 7 minutes for questions from large
companies.

On the day of the event, many interested local governments and
companies came to the event as participants, leading not only
to the community and large companies, but also to participants
and speakers connecting to discuss new projects.

On the day of the event, booths were set up at the venue to
announce initiatives centered on open factories that are
integrated with local communities in Osaka Prefecture. In
addition, the PR time provided a meaningful opportunity to
visualize the potential of the next speakers and to be
inspired by the content of the speakers'
presentations.
The creation of new connections is expected to revitalize
regional investment circulation.
【Post EXPO Initiatives】
Focusing on the connection between the region and large
companies created through the event, we will follow up on the
future development.
Specifically, we invited the large companies that cooperated
this time to reconvene and hold a retrospective workshop. We
will examine these issues from the viewpoints of "Why did
you choose that community?" and "How will we work
with the community?" and consider business forms for the
next fiscal year and beyond together with partner
companies.
We also plan to hold a forum in February 2026 to share the
process of the award.
The "Corporate Award" is a promise of "future
communication" and provides a first step toward mutual
understanding.
I would like to visualize the significance of providing a
place for the government to meet such "first steps"
by looking back on the results.

October – November 2025 Review Workshop
In December 2025, a study group for guideline policy was
held.

Through this initiative, I hope to discover the possibility of
economic cycles within the region, such as "Large local
companies nurture local communities, and their actions lead to
the value and growth of large companies."
I would appreciate it if you would pay attention to the
progress of our efforts in the future.
